Our Mission

Our mission is to create resources that encourage people to fiercely know and be known by God and others.

Our Values

The Word

We value truth over opinion and uphold the Holy Bible as the true and inspired Word of God. We believe the Bible is the primary way that God speaks to us. We trust that the Bible is the ultimate theological authority and strive to know, love, and obey Jesus more by reading His Word.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

We value intimacy over pretense and believe in embracing a life lived in the light. We should be willing to confess our sins to God and to one another, to repent, and to be changed by our relationships with God and others.

1 John 1:5-10

We value people over individualism and strive to have real, vulnerable relationships with each other. We believe every Christian should be a part of a local church and meet together in person with other believers for worship, teaching, prayer, and fellowship.

Hebrews 10:24-25

We value relationship over religion and believe followers of Christ should strive to grow in intimacy with Christ by daily devotion to Bible reading and prayer.

John 15:1-11

We value who God says we are over who the world says we are and believe true value and worth are found only in Jesus. We believe all people are made in the image of God, to glorify God. We believe that, through Christ, we are made righteous, redeemed, children of God. We believe our God-given gifts and differences should be utilized and celebrated.

Ephesians 1:3-14

We value progress over perfection and believe followers of Christ have been freed from sin. We believe in striving together with the Holy Spirit to become more and more like Christ.

2 Corinthians 3:18

May we be united by the most important things.

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets.

We believe in one holy catholic* and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.* We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.

* “Catholic” refers to the universal church of God’s people throughout all time and from all places.

*We understand “one baptism for the forgiveness of sins” to be either a reference to spiritual baptism or water baptism symbolizing spiritual cleansing – not a reference to water baptism saving the recipient.
